Being members of the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), Jewelers
of America (JA), Michigan Retailers Association and having years of
professional training, owners Michael and Clare Vilenski began the
company in 1988 after many years of doing work for other jewelers.
What began as a home repair store is now a well-respected jewelry
store with a wide variety of jewelry to choose from. If you don’t
find what you’re looking for, or just want something different,
the Goldsmith Shop has years of experience making custom jewelry.
The design is first sketched on paper and then a wax model is made
for your approval. Within 3-4 weeks from start to finish, you can
have your own uniquely designed, custom-made jewelry.
Being members of the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and having
years of professional training, both Michael and Clare are experts
in diamond grading. All diamonds sold by the Goldsmith Shop are purchased
loose to guarantee quality. The success of the Goldsmith Shop has
